does entrenchment have too many bugs?

ive seen and read posts about entrenchment screwing up. if theres that many screw ups, should i wait about a year so the compony can fix all the bugs, and then buy entrenchment? ;Cause i dont want to waste my money, time and pc space on a buggy game.:(

personally I have had no poblems with the game it self

most of the "bugs" are very minor issues, with a slight balance issue with LRFs

it is still worth the money and is an overall enjoyable experience

Technical issues seem to appear rarely, I for myself never had a problem either with vanilla nor with entrenchment. With especially the Starbases and some new research topics Entrechment is absolutely worth the 10$ it costs because it adds so much to depth and strategic possibilities.

Many of the other discussions are actually more referring to balancing issues than to technical bugs and that is more a matter of personal liking. I, for my part, think the game is pretty well balanced because I don't play online and therefore don't need to face the hardcore tactics like scout rushs, XXX spams etc.

So to come to a conclusion: Get it! It's much more fun and keeps you much longer busy than a burger and a coke for the same price!

The game's balance is slightly messed up, but as has been said - technical bugs don't happen too often.

I know it's not considered a bug really...but the game only runs on single core....boooo!

In all fairness, I've tried to complain less lately and play more. Really, the bugs that are mentioned aren't game breaking. The current balance is a little gamebreaking, but this is only if someone exploits it to the max, and tbh, most players don't. The exception here might be Illuminator spammers, while they are a pain in the ass, they probably are the only thing in the game that's left that makes me pull my hair out.

It's a worthwhile investment, however if I were you I would be watching for two things:

1. What Stardock reveals about Diplomacy. It looks like they will be adding a significant change to the game, and at the same time fixing balance issues.

2. What the community thinks of these changes. If you see the common posters on these forums (Cykur, Annatar, Eadtaes, Myself, etc.) Getting livid about the changes that are coming, then I'd say don't bother. I really don't think that's going to happen though.

My point. Let the feedback about diplomacy make the decision for you. Smart money says you'll end up buying the game and loving it anyway.
