lol. i figured out what i did; when i installed the game, i had a mod i made to go into it but when i went to put it in the game's program files folder, i draged the one from the original sins into it instead of the one for entrenchment. then for some reason when i uninstalled the whole thing, it didnt delete anything and when i installed it, it didnt overwrite new files into the folder either.
so i deleted everything and reinstalled and it worked. and i remembered to install the right mod this time
