The hotfixes for Sins of a Solar Empire and Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment are now available to all registered customers via the Impulse client.

Changes include:

+ Fix for Akkan's colonize potentially creating neutral resource extractors.
+ Fix for Adept Drone Anima not behaving correctly in original Sins.
+ Fix for NanoHullRepair sound effect.
+ Jam Weapons will now only be autocast when a threshold number of enemy strike craft are in range. (Entrenchment Only)
+ Improved AI and autocast usage for Flak Burst, TelekineticPush, MassDisorientation and PhaseOutFighters. (Entrenchment Only)
+ New AIUseTime for modding: OnlyWhenManyTargetsInRange. (Entrenchment Only)
+ Fixed bug with mines not targetting or detonating if their owner player didn't have vision at their planet. (Entrenchment Only)
+ Included dll's to make sure ConvertData runs correctly for modders.
+ Included Developer builds for modders.

sweet! Glad to see the Sova cap didnt get touched with rumors about RM being overpowered or not what you guys intended it to be, i love this ship now.

I can't download the the update, it always gets to 91,6 % and then gets stuck. Has anybody else succeeded updating?

Weird, it never gets farther than for me. I would try restarting, but my Vista takes forever to shutdown, and become usable after booting. In between it's perfect, though I'll try again tomorrow.

So sentinal isnt suppose to do aoe on regular ships, just sc?  They worked against regular ships before. So basically they got nerf?

I just checked the entire history of the BuffChargedMissilesLightSelf.entity file. It has always only affected only strikecraft. So no, it was not nerfed.

question... if a vasari flack hits a normal ship with a charged missle, does it do spash damage to sc? or does it have to hti a sc to do splash dmg to sc?

My personal expirience  told me sentiels were nerfed in 1st day  of update. I wasnt sure haw, and i made tests.

i foud AOE problem. But devs says its ok despite of  personal expirience of player who did 1500+ games and another with 1000+ .  bouth playing mainly vasari and using sentiels heawy.

 

So if AOE area dmg is ok, as u say , haw did u nefr sentiels and y there is nothing in change log.

And no frigs HP buff doesnt cout as i checked sentiels behaviour against fleets without frigs.
