Hey,
In late game, I like to coordinate with my allies to attack the pirate base, and eliminate them from a star system. The new (beta)addon makes it impossible. Where once, I could click any of my freind's planets, then click attack>pirate planet; they'd say, "Okay." Then I'd meet them there and we'd take 'em out.
Now, they won't do that, and I can't even offer a 'mission' against the pirates, 'cause there's no such listing in the target list. For that matter, the very structure of giving missions, it appears, is non-specific. Maybe I'm wrong on that; but that defend/attack buttons on the bottom of the screen when an ally's planet is selected(always, not in the diplomacy screen) seems now obsolete, when it WAS better, because it was SPECIFIC in exactly where you wanted them to attack, and not dependant on first naming the target faction, and making a number of certain target types, "Oh, anywhere you like".
Sorry for anything I'm not aware of; I still haven't fully explored pacts. (I kinda think they're LESS important, later in the game, though, when you can stand on your own, anyway. For another thread, though.)
Thanks. Not a complaint, mind you; just adding $.02 for my part in the beta.
