Entrenchment/diplomacy

Hi folks, need some help here, please

I have been playing SOASE for a while with no problems and decided last night to download the 2 expansions, entrenchment & diplomacy. They installed fine and show up in my taskbar with the original sins. however i cannot get them to load, all i get is a black screen? I have tried updating my drivers which didn't solve the problem. My computer troubleshooting knowledge is pretty basic, so would appreciate some ideas on what to do next. I am running a AMD athlon 64x2, M2N- Sli deluxe motherboard with geforce 8600GT.

Did you ever add any custom Galaxy-Forge-made maps to your Program Install Sins folder?  You might want to check your Galaxy folder.  If so, remove the custom maps.  (I'm not talking about the Galaxy Forge folder in the Application Data folder, but your main Sins folder in Program Files.)

No i don't have any galaxy forge maps - i don't have any mods/maps, though that was somthing i was going to look into once i was up and running. I have e-mailed stardock and am awauting a reply.

One more thing.  Did you fully update Regular Sins to the most recent patched version, v1.19 (I think)?

Yes, i updated it recently, (last week) to the latest version.
