There seems to be a new type of desync problem with online muliplayer lately.
A new game would desync as soon as all players have finished loading, giving everyone the wonderful little red in-game text message. Repeatedly rehosting would result in desync every time, though the red message would indicate that the desync has occured between two different players every time (seemingly randomly).
This has happened to at least three different game hosts; players have tried restarting the game client between games, to no avail.
Lately it's become more and more of a miracle that an online game can go on w/o a desync or at least one player minidumping (also common, but that's old news).
I have sync logs if anyone needs them. Just tell me where I'm supposed to put them.
