As for the gal, well, she and I both have Facebook, so I'll likely get in touch with her on there too. Which would, incidentally, give me a reason to be on their more than once every 2-2.5+ months.

Well, I don't love Facebook; I view it more as a tool. It's useful for the purpose of communicating with people you know, but all the games and such that it has are, IMO, frivolous add-ons to draw more people.

Mostly I'm on only once every 2-2.5+ months (it could be 3 or more months before I get on; in fact I think I once went like 4 months without touching it) because there's very little there that interests me. I occasionally login to just check on a few things (and while I'll admit that at one time I did play FB games, I no longer do. Sins+Portal=win; not as an actual game but as a selection of games to play) and that's about it.

Other than that, I've been preoccupied with other things, mostly computer&40K-related. After all, I plan to collect a few paired armies; and I've got a great idea for an Aliens-themed multi-level modular gaming table for tabletop 40K. Complete with special scenario rules.

After all, Space Hulk, a 40K game, was inspired by the Aliens series. And several species of Tyranids are VERY Aliens-esque.

But yeah, mostly I'm on very infrequently because I just didn't have any real interest. But now I have a new problem: there's at least 50 people on FB that have the same name (spelling&all) as the girl I mentioned. *sigh* Such is the ways of Facebook.

Maybe I'll burn a few aliens or something. Or better yet, do some friendly fire in Portal (morph should get this one).

My point being, what I originally said. That me and IrationalFear must be the only people on earth that hate Facebook (metaphorically speaking). Meaning that I dont know any other person besides IFear who does hate FB.

Who doesn't know portal I've never even played it and I know about most of it lol. Morph I haven't been on facebook in 9 months...only reason I made3 one was to get ungrounded (silly right?) my parent were addicted to facebook minigames so I played em 2 days...then quit lol. Saved me like 4 weeks of being grounded though amiright?

IHad a long exam not too long ago so I was studying for that. Now I got lots of schoolwork to catch up on before school closes next week.

Soon as thats all done I will be back as normal.

I got 4 theives and 3 paladins last playthrough morph . He updated the game yesterday though made it easier for the idiots who didn't know how to beat it. Ah well I got platnium in the origninal "hard" version.

For my next CCF venture, I will be on exercise at Yardley Chase (a MOD training area) for three days from wednesday. While I haven't been chosen for a command role, I have been chosen to be the designated marksman of my section, which means lugging around this:

instead of an L98 Rifle.

The cons? Heavier.

The pros? Full-auto, as many magazines as I can carry, and a SUSAT sight.

Life is good.

Nah, L98s are the cadet variant of the L85, and are almost always left with iron sights. The only other difference is that they are solely semi-automatic, whereas the L85 can be fired in automatic.

Some units in the army are issued with L85s with iron sights, though only ones which are unlikely to fight except in emergencies.

But anyway, being designated marksman instead of 2IC means less making sure that newbies (with attitude problems) don't die of hypothermia and MORE DAKKA!
