You're not the only European gamer out there who wants to play at those times. Sadly, most of the games are in the North American evening on the Diplomacy expansion. You might have better luck over the weekend when more North Americans are playing during the day (European evening).

Just to get a decent update, as of 2011... are those North American games still fruitful? Also, what chat channels does the community sit in? Lobby 1 is nearly always deserted. I was wondering if there was a 'secret' channel everyone goes to.
First off, do you have Diplomacy? The action is on the Diplomacy server. There are normally a couple 4v4 and 5v5 games every day starting in the European evening and extending on to the North American evening. There's more action on the weekends.
