A member requested we create a thread where community members can organize multiplayer games together.

Example:

  • Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Friday night at 8pm EST.  Server info, etc.
     

Lets try this out and see how it goes, and possibly we can expand it.

Sounds great. I was actually looking for Starcraft 2 players on here. Thought I could get acquainted and maybe play a game or 2 and ever learn from their experience with the game.

I'm a player in the sense that I have the game I really *want* to get into it and actually play it on the ladder because I love the game, but I never felt quite at home with 1v1 RTS games and I work during the day which really wouldn't leave me a lot of time to sit and play.

I do follow the tourneys and love watching the casts, I just don't get to play it much. Maybe once I get the couple tanks I really want in World of Tanks, I'll get some time to actually get better at SC2. I was placed in Platinum in season 1, though I didn't play more than 10-15 games total, and for some reason after losing my 1 season 2 match to get put back on the ladder, it took me to Diamond.. and I'm definitely not Diamond level

I love and hate SC2 at the same time... There's units that totally rocks and replace the one not there from SC1 but there's some from SC1, for protoss and especially for the zergs that are missing too much and makes me miss SC1.

SC 2 is really great, I love it but well... Its just missing !

Before starting a true SC match, I'll wait for heart of the swarm to come out and see what will the new units be.

Else, I do a lot of custom games online like parasite ! Which is truly an amazing map but I suck at it ! lol makes me remember of the thing of john carpenter.

I don't have doom 3... never had the chance to try it out though I'm a fan of Doom 1 and 2 !

There was that old game... Dominion Storm over gift or smth like that... is that what you're talking about ?

I don't have SC2 yet, primarily because I don't have a computer capable of handling it yet. but I have been paying close attention to the happenings with it. I am also irritated with the lose of some protoss and zerg stuff too, specifically the dark archon (Blizzard, give me one good lore reason for this, when the protoss are facing extinction!) and the lurker (doomed from the beginning by the zerg tech tree shuffle that made them Tier 3), and even some terran stuff being campaign specific like the firebat, the medic, and the Perdition turret. It doesn't help matters that the zerg are in dire need of some help.

I would like to play Sins of a Solar Empire and its expansions.

I would also like to play StarCraft/Brood War too, because the AI is getting really pathetic and it is very hard to find games on the official maps, though I am not nearly as good with the zerg and the protoss as I am with the terrans.

Company of Heroes - Primary game. Love 1v1 though 2v2 with (internet)friends is acceptable. Prepare to get pwned!!

Alien Swarm - Cool game. I'm always up for it!

Torchlight - Been waiting to play this with a nice group

Worms Reloaded - Haven't tried it MP yet but I'm sure it will be fun

Age of Mythology - Matchups have to be discussed since the game is unbalanced (Norse is weak). I also can't play on the official servers since I gotted the gold edition which all got the same key....

 

The following games are not installed but if enough interest surfaces I'll play them

 

Left 4 Dead 2 - Not installed at the moment but will if interest exists

Magic - Duels of the PlanesWalkers - Haven't tried but am ready to play a little.

 

I got some other games as well but people!   Tell what you want to play and we'll work something out!

 

 

I never thought I'd say this but eventhough I waited for StarCraft II for 7 years I don't feel much interest in it....Company of Heroes makes it feel outdated (and I gotted Company of Heroes 2010 on Steams Christmas sale for 7.5 euros and StarCraft II in January for 70 euros!!)

I'm totally down for a Starcraft II meetup whenever, I play pretty much daily. I'm gold league but don't mind playing with or against higher/lower ranked players as long as people are mature and want to learn alongside myself. Nick: Lucid / Character Code: 725

 

Also playing Crysis 2 multiplayer pretty badly but am getting better (not a huge FPS guy).

I've been playing SMP minecraft a whole bunch. I am an admin on a 1.4 server and have been working on making dungeons and mazes for the people on my server to run.

 

I have also been playing magicka.

Consider picking up magicka - so far, kalel, doggu, and I have it.  Its 4 player co-op silliness for like $10.  I'd be up for SoaSE and P2 sometime soon as well.  I've only had a chance to play 1 short game of p2 co-op and I'd enjoy playing it out.

Disappointing that this thread didn't get any better use out of it. So lets try again. It's real simple. You check my list of games and if you want to play one of'em in multiplayer you add me to your list of STEAM friends. If you don't got STEAM running all the time like I do then ask for MSN, Skype etc.

You should also make your own list of games (preferrably inserting your own STEAM library).

You any good at Team Fortress Classic? I played it for years until I found Sins.

Actually never played it and wasn't my intention of even getting it.

The wintersale had Half-Life 1 Anthology at a fantastic discount and getting the pack of Half-Life, Opposing Forces, Blue Shift and TFC was cheaper than getting the Half-Life games individually. So scratch that one from my list
