What I 'would' like to see are more varied planetary modifiers (i.e. 'This planet has heavy metal deposits ... +20% to research speed' or 'This planet has alien archives -1 modifier to required Research Labs prerequisites' or 'Contagious disease, -40% planet population') etc ... both good and bad modifiers make the map not only more random but also make different planets more valuable or less valuable than they otherwise would normally be. The Distant Stars mod had done this to great effect.
I agree, but it seems this add on is being done with a shoestring budget. I don't even believe Ironclad is doing this, I think this is being done in house at Stardock. Only cause most if not all the back and for on these forums is coming from Stardock employees.
