I don't recall this happening to me last time I made more than 3 races into Sins, and I am doing the steps as I recall before. I took a look at the new race mod and Zombie's new race guide, and it simply tells me to do what I've already done.

So I get a new race into the game to test out a portion of a mod I intent to help someone else out with, and when you scroll to that new Empire, you are forced to scroll backward to continue. You can scroll backward away from it. Putting the race in high or low priority does nothing for this glitch I seem to be experiencing. Additionally, I do have playerthemes and playerpicture dummies (of advent) set up, and placed in the manifests, as well as full entity and brush manifests counted for. I do have the Valid list in GalaxyScenarioDef for themes and pictures updated with the advent dummies, as well as playerTypecount in GalaxyScenarioDef updated. There are many other steps I've taken, but this is all I think is necessary to produce a 4th+ race without glitch, or am I wrong?

someone would have to play what your working with and see your files to know what's not working.

if you read the post, you'll notice it is in the manifest and priority is set.

When you do exactly as your guide says to do, in Diploacy 1.32, it provides all the races you want, but do not allow you to scroll foward past the first custom race. Instead, it only allows you to scroll in reverse. To someone who doesn't know how to reverse scroll, having the custom race as the highest entity appears as though you've only access to the first custom race. Resetting the priorities for them all and putting the custom races as lower priorities makes it appear to the player that only knows how to foward scroll that all the original + one custom race is present, but how can player get back to other races? Well I click back, and can endlessly do so, but I am unable to do so in the foward direction.

If you still have no clue, then I might suggest you make a guide for 1.32, as I noticed the guide is out of date for diplomacy and that the files are as well.

Try these simple steps from scratch, a new mod.

New player entity, placing the priority as 0, and giving phase 1, advent 2, Tec 3. Then put the new race into galaxyscenariodef. Then put the new race into entity manifest aswell. Make sure everything else is unaltered and provided with replicated references to the original race it was copied from. It should provide glitchless scrolling both foward and back.

One thing I also noticed in 1.32 is that many files have improper number for brushes and even in the entity listing. I had to up the number more than 1 on my first entity listing to get the entity to work. I did a line count of entity manifest, the original, and it was more than 5 below the actual amount. Of course, I subtracted 2 for the first 2 lines which are not entity.

There seems to be a like of screwy things in 1.32 diplomacy.

I know how to read, it's you that can't communicate.

There is no playerRace mentioned being in the manifest anywhere in that post.

and priority is set.

Why would you set the priority the same as the pirates. I have never tried a new race at 0 and never had a problem.

Pirates 0
NewRace 1
Vasari 2  - Thats Phase
Advent 3 - Thats Psi
TEC 4     - Thats Tech

If you still have no clue, then I might suggest you make a guide for 1.32

Why would you ask the guys that have no clue to make a guide. We will await your guide with great anticipation.

as well as full entity and brush manifests counted for.

I believe this is in my OP; please don't question my ability to communicate, rather question my expectations on brainRaR.

other than that, thanks for pointing out my minor error, even if it was heavily saturated in irrational levels of whiplash.

I'll just point out that unmodded sins diplomacy, and all sins has had vasari as 0.

 - Still didn't work. I think there may be some new reference to Random's position, now?

Oh and I do apologize for asking you to make a guide on the newest version... that was poor logic on my part, I must admit. Rather, test it on diplomacy 1.32, manually making a new race, and tell me if you get the same results. If the results are the same, we then must search and hunt down the new reason why it happens.

ROFL, made 20 new races and not 1 problem, including EVE races. Just had a single Abbadon kill 4 TEC capitals while playing EVE music in MP3.

Goog luck, I am done here.

The Error is AchievementsDef. AchievementsDef must be put on the front of new race guides. Even old modders forget things until we think about it for a while. You can infinitely scroll backward in race selection, but without modifying AchievementsDef to include your new races, you will stall at the first new one, scrolling forward.
