When will the vasari be playable

So im real excited to try out the new vasari loyalist but im just wondering if anyone knows when the will be added?

The code for the Vasari Rebel Titan is already in the game (such as abilities and leveling up), so sooner than you might think. Even the Advent are in the code - we just have to wait for Stardock to enable them as playable races.

Lol I saw all the chatter about varsi and the advent and I was like am I being doped? I can only play the Tec.

If you want to try out some units: Make 16 Corsevs. Learn the first ability (the one that can take over troops), go to the Occupation planet and have a ball.

 

I captured every unit and turret there. Even a regeneration bay and a hangar.

 

It filled my appetite for a little while at least.

Edit: The Kanrak Assailants didn't do much. They got right up on the Orkulus and just kept getting shot at. The poor lone Karrastra did a suicide mission to the planet, but was killed on the way.

Choose "cinematic mode" on the top menu bar.

Ctrl+Shft+Z removes HUD.

Reverse the process to restore.  You can also edit the hotkeys in "options" at the game start up.

New goal: Have an AI friend. And just choose a random unit of his and watch/follow it the entire game in Cinematic/No HUD mode.

 

I will weep if it gets destroyed.

well the thing is I really want to try the vasari loyalists. I have always liked keeping My fleet in one big ball and the new titans ability to do that will finally let me be free of those bothersome planets

Lossing fleet won't be as bad, it can summon the dark fleet, its the capitals I'd worry about

I would like to know the ETA of Beta 2 too. I know there was said, that things are going to be ready, when they are ready, but i do not believe there is not some kind of basic plan in the mould "if everything goes as it should, then...". 

I wonder about the updates for the current beta as well, whether they will be released like small fixes in shorter periods, or there will be one major update lets say in month or 2, or possibly all the bugs will be fixed only with Beta 2 release?

I think the advent will be released first, some of the vasari icons (loyalist ship/abilities) aren't done yet. While the advent seems good to go.

I'd prefer if the dev's just made all the races playable right now, who cares if they are not quite finished, missing icons/textures/effects whatever. It is after all, a beta.
