If I hear "The bigger they are, the harder I hit 'em." one more time...

Please please please give us an option to disable ship spawning SFX!  This was annoying enough before corvettes.  Perhaps by factory type or ship type / class.

They fixed this issue somewhat when they first brought mines into the game.

Used to here a audio cue after every mine was built.

How about "Kick the fat kid until his ice cream drops"

That's the problem with a lot of the TEC voices. That's the main reason why I switched to Vasari. I don't understand why some of the voices have to sound so...be it lame, such as the cobalt, or gosh darn annoying. That bigger they are line sound like it came from a cartoon.

Why can't they make the voices sound badass like in Starcraft, or at least use a believable military voice.

Honestly if I try and think about bad TEC voices the only ones I can think of are the Light Frigates, LRMs, Scouts, the Corvettes and the Loyalist Titan. Everything else seemed fine to me.

Especially the Command Cruiser, best voice in the game bar none.

Heh, I feel your pain and have adjusted the corvette balance to try and make it less irritating. More can be done if necessary.

If not that at least make it more varied, or perhaps if we are building multiples wait for the sound effect until the queue for that ship is done maybe? I hope that options can be provided so its not as drastic as all sound fx on or off only.

Yes, please add an option Yarlen to minimize the feed back commands voices in the game.

Thank you,

This quote from another thread-

Quoting stein220,
i really like the advent music (listening to it now actually.

yeah, the TEC and Advent corvette voices need some work or I'll have to see if i can replace them with the scout voices (and maybe their creation sound with the static from the TEC broadcast center).

just because the ship is small doesn't mean the crew has to be.

I think he's got the right idea. Both ways could work, but I like this idea best- just replace the voice.

Info sounds suck that hard on every race that i turn voice notifications totally off but it even sucks more to get the defeat display because that lame new upgrade for tec raiding troops destroyed my home planet unnoticed

I will buy 10 copies of Rebellion if they add that line.

I totally agree. In my opinion, the Kol Battleship's voice should be a standard for other voices. It sounds credible, and like a capable commander.

my brothers hate me whenever i make them, because sometimes i make like 100 at a time. why did they change corvettes to 2 fleet supply? its a lot better when you got these tiny ships and they only cost 1 supply each.

They did it so they won't be abused for in-game lag during multiplayer sessions. People sometimes made 2000 or so corvettes in order to make other people ragequit because of severe lag.
