Are you looking from inside the titan? I don't think you're supposed to be able to zoom in that closely.

You can see through the cannon even when you're zoomed out.

Would be nice if they added a particle effect on the inside of the gun. Something similar to that of the TEC and Vasari Starbases. That would make it so much sweeter to look at.

Try doing this with an Akkan nearby :- the crosshairs for Targeting Uplink are visible down the barrel of the Ragnarov.

The second shot is a problem the first looks like your breaking the constraints of the game at which point anything that happens after that is your fault.

People wouldn't be bothered by it if they knew that the ship is one big railgun, as for the broken textures in the first pic, do nid fixor.

The only time you can see through a current tech real live railgun is when it's harness is off. However in all fairness based on current tech in the USN I could see future and much larger scale railguns being open ended.

Me too. Hell, I zoomed the camera in to strike craft level then physically moved it inside the cannon and took an inside tour of the Titans.

It is most likely that the titan's insides look like this for performance reasons. I'd rather spend my polygon and texture detail on the outside of the ship where people are normally going to be looking. Spending it on the inside seems like a waste since most people will never look there. We can go down this hole pretty deep. Should cabins with windows get rendered on other capital ships? At some point a line needs to be drawn. I would much rather see a better Corsev model than the insides of the cannon titan getting spruced up.

Yes but there's an engine behind that railgun, and the engine is not empty.

Learn about rail gun tech, there is plenty of non-classified material available and I can provide you some links if need be. I agree for esthetic purposes that there should be something covering one end up however from an actual tech point of view there is not necessarily anything there. However this is neither here nor there, what it comes down to is the artist artistic intention.

This can't be intentional because you see through from front but from behind the view is blocked by ship's model.


Unless some of you are planning on arguing that they installed one giant one way glass on this titan for... whatever the reason they may have LOL
