Mini-Dump Error

When I start Rebellion I make i through to the loading screen just before play.  A mini-dump starts pausing the load.  If I close the mini-dump I get the following error:

C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\Sins Dump\Sins-Rebellion v0.78-2012-04017-21-05-41-7460-6504.dmp

My system configuration is as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor  3800+ 2.00 Ghz

RAM 300 GB

NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

Where should I start?

By pause I mean it freezes the load.

I'm having the same issues, and it started AFTER i played for 6 hours.  I try to load my game and it doesn't work, gives me the same error.

A new version (v0.78) of Rebellion was released yesterday which has many important bug fixes.

Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with games that were saved with v0.76.

v0.78 was around for a day or so - v0.79 came out which checks that the save data is compatible.

I use to have the same problem with the old sins games. What I have found is that it has to do with the auto save feature. Clearing your auto saves regularlyclearly them out will make this not happen. Also disabling them helps even more

I am having this problem now.  I was playing rebellion beta 3 last night and now I am getting this mini dump error.  I tried loading trinity to play that instead and it is also reacting the same.  Any solutions?

I get the same problem too - there seems to be a lot of talk about this but not clear fix, and I haven't seen any tech advice from Stardock support anywhere. Can anyone help?

I haven't played the game yet.

I've just pre-ordered it with steam, installed the game and launched it : I get the same issue too.
