Glitch - TEC rebel titans weapons are auto firing even though i have

- TEC rebel titans weapons are auto firing even though i have it set to none auto attacking 

 

edit: it stopped after about 12 or 13 seconds - but still destroyed several pirate shits i didnt want it to

One does not simply order the biggest weapon platform in the game to stop firing.

The pirates probably shot at the Titan first thus even with no stance the Titan will return fire.

i was keeping the XP for a cap ship - titan xp means feck all once you have money you can just keep buying titans till its at level 10.  cap ships you have to be careful not to lose them and them gaining xp safely

Auto-attack doesn't stop a ship from firing on a target that flies into range, if my understanding is correct. All it prevents is the ship from automatically picking a target and going after it.

Regardless, even if the capital ship got the kills, if the Titan is below level 10, it will still share the XP with the capital regardless if it even touched the enemy. The only real way to reserve XP for the capital is to either get the Titan to level 10, where it will not be included when dividing XP after a kill, or to keep the Titan out of the gravity well.

Hold position and auto attack off isn't the same thing. What probably happened is the titan needed to finish firing the volley and all the armament on the way was enough to kill the ships, even though the titan was about to stop attacking.

ive repeated this several times and you are correct - i had an AI flagship on low health and turned off my weapons all ships stopped but the titan fired a good 6 or 7 more shots
