Downloading of maps

why doesn't it work

So, my friend just made a map in the forge and when I tried to join his game it told me I didn't have the file. Then we arranged to have the file transferred. Why didn't the file just automatically download so that we didn't have to arrange ?

Sins is lacking a ton of basic multiplayer features.

Map/mod sharing, balanced maps, a ranking system...

We were really really really hoping basic features like this were going to be added in for rebellion, but if that is the case, we havent seen them in beta yet.
