Vasari Rebels in Opening Cinematic

I just noticed something about the Vasari rebels in the opening cinematic.  I can't believe I haven't noticed it before.  The capital ships accompanying the titan are all from the different factions.  I wonder if that has any gameplay implications?  Maybe some special alliance options?

You will have to wait until they release the Vasari to beta.

I beleive it's meant to indicate, as the voiceover suggests, that the rebel vasari are our only hope of forming an alliance to stand against whatever is chasing the vasari.

It implies Vasari Rebels seek diplomacy with other races to survive. They are less xenophobous than the original loyalist vasari.

You can share your phase gate network with other factions, if you are Vasari Rebels. Additionaly, you can research  a tech giving some bonuses to your ships, if they fight in the same gravity well as your allies.

Also, if I'm remembering the leaks of all the Titan abilities/stats, they have some neat little flavour on the antimatter upgrade that says the Titan's core was a joint effort between the Vasari and Advent.

I believe there was also some technology or Titan Ability available that referenced TEC and Vasari working on it, likely an armour upgrade. I'll have to re-check that some time.

The Vasari rebels have a tech in their warfare research tree that grants them a boost to armor. It says that the TEC grant them access to their supply chains so that the armor on Vasari ships can be restored to original strength.

VRT abilities: Leech HP an AM, slow/diasable (when drain is on), heal other ships while damaging himself, Ultimate is AOE dam and strong HP drain if afflicted by the other drain. The VRT is very hard to kill, if enough enemy ships are present, then it drains hundreds of hp per second on higher levels.

No abilities affect other titans, which should be changed imo.

You don't even need to try to keep us in suspense.  Your possible presence is all it takes to keep us stressed.  And please please please don't invite the possum.  That will mean war.

... I'm talking about the passive upgrades that you can put points into, the ones that give bonuses to health, firepower, and antimatter.

I would'nt be suprised if they put in an ability for the rebel vasari gate that instead of summoning the dark fleet it summons TEC and Advent allies

If we said that, the thread would probably get nuked.

Modders have already stolen the beta files and added the vasari from diplomacy but they have no titans and are for the most part unbalanced.

I would bet you ten bucks but i don't know where you live

I'm no expert but i guarantee you that if there isn't an "official mod out there people have still done it and you would just have to ask around.  People in their mother's basements are very quick when they want to be.

Do not be fooled, the Vasari hype the threat and will use the Advent and TEC as cannon fodder.  Kill them all.

Modders haven't stolen a damn thing.  All the files are right there in the game, though not in their final release form, so people have tried to activate them but aren't getting much.  Always best to mod when final release is out instead of mucking about with test material.
