Bug report: Rebellion does not hold the mouse on dual monitor setup

On my dual monitor setup, whenever I move the mouse towards the other monitor, it leaves the game full screen display and goes to the other monitor.

That messes game experience, since I believe the game should capture the mouse inside the game window, thus moving the galactic display to the right the the mouse hits the right corner of the screen.

Reproducible: always.

I have the exact same issue.  Dual monitor, and the mouse leaves the game if I try to move it to the right edge (game is on the left monitor).

Odd though, and the other Sins games (SoaSE and the expansions) don't have this issue for me.

I've experienced this as well. I actually like having the ability, so hopefully there will be an option to enable/disable this "feature". As a workaround, I use the middle mouse button to scroll.

Any workaround for this? I want to be able to scroll to the right but it just puts my mouse on the second screen. The ability to lock to one screen please fix this...

Ya. its really annoying. best 'work around' I have found is disabling the second monitor, either in windows display options, or unplugging.

I also have this Issue! Hoped it would be fixed after the beta but it still isn't. It makes the game unplayable! Disabling the second screen is an annoying as I do like to leave it on displaying other things! I can't remember the last time I had this problem and I have been using dual screens for years.

This is plaguing us somewhat. We all have multiple monitors here, but our mouse cursors are clamped to the primary when we run full screen...

I to have this problem. Sometimes if i alt tab a couple times it fixes the issue but that doesn't always fix the issue.

Nice to know your looking at the problem. Here are my vital specs in case that helps.

Hardware: i5 2500k, 16GB RAM, 2x6950 2GB, ASUS Xonar DX Soundcard, 2 x 1080p 24" Benqs connected via DVI.

Software: Windows 7 x64 fully updated, Latest leaked AMD Cataylst drivers (same problem with the offcial 12.6) latest AMD Application profiles 12.7 CAP3.

Game Settings: Everything on max @ 1080p

I tried rwneo suggestion of alt tabbing a few times with no luck. I also tried disabling crossfire to see if that helped but it did not.

EDIT: I decided to play around with the settings some more and found that if I selected windowed mode and then hit cancel (so it switches to a window and then I dont accept the settings so it returns to full screen) my mouse is then locked to the primary screen! Sadly this only lasts till I exit the game. Its still an improvement over disabling my second screen. Perhaps this is a useful clue to you guys! Hope it helps!

Any progress on this? The game looks great, but not being able to scroll right is making it fairly unplayable.

I have three monitors, so when I play, I have to disable all but the center one in order to mitigate excessive carpal tunnel fallout.  This defeats the purpose of having multiple monitors obviously, but sometimes I just leave them on and end up with a lot of in game runaway mouse issues - and that's a problem during long games.  Sure wish it could get fixed

Have a relatively easy workaround (and hopefully some information that can be used to fix this problem).

If you open your video options while a game and tell it to used windowed mode, then apply - the game will go windowed and ask if you want to keep the change. Click cancel (reject the change), and when the game fullscreens again the mouse behaves as it should.
