Novalith cannon needs a buff

I think the novalith cannon is underpowered, and more importantly, the AI does not build enough superweapons.  A few proposed buffs:

 

1) Decrease tech level, I think 5 military labs is more than appropriate, with tiers 6, 7, and 8 being used for pertinent novalith cannon upgrades such as:

tier 6: When a novalith cannon hits the well, unleash a missile barrage (see Marza) that covers the entire gravity well.

tier 7: Splash damage deals damage to adjacent planets

tier 8: Overpower enables the novalith cannon to destroy planets even with the starbase upgarde to prevent loss of planet due to planet health.

 

It also could be good to see the price and tactical slot cost of novalith cannon reduced.

I'm not sure if that's enough. Recolonizing planet late game doesn't cost much. As for missile barrage effect, that's pretty useless because you can just jump away lol.

How about letting last upgrade destroy planet completely, like stripped to the core? Except you don't get resources, so it's not OP.

Entierly right, the advent can build 2 superweapon per planet, its unfair for tec not to be able to.

 

I actually like the missile barrage thing. It would destroy buildings around the planet. As for the starbase jumping, why not.

 

I think that when a nova destroys a planet, the previous owner shouldnt be able to recolonise it ever again but others can.

 

Cheaper novas would be awsome. It takes 30 min to make one, it took me 6 hours to get 10 novas on my last game.

What an awesome idea.

Altho i would change lv8 upgrade to add a small craft to novalith containing colonist. This carft would detach just before warhead hits a planet and after  2 min cooldown instantly colonized a planet.

Thats very practical.

Or , even beter player could choose between striping upgrade and colonisation upgrade.

EVEN better, you could switch Novalith to terraform mode to change dead roid into habitable planet and then use kostura with colonization ship upgrade to repopulate it. Perfection.

And the DE can get an upgrade that instantly captures the planet and all of the ships around it.  Quite balanced.

TEC Superweapons actually do something, it's unfair for the Advent one not to.

If we're talking about buffing these things, it's the Deliverance Engine that needs it.

Do you think it would be unreasonable to add tier 9 techs that are only for the novalith?

Or maybe separate research labs for super weapons?

Maybe to take the hassle out of it, reduce the build prequisites to Tier 3.

TEC needs something to defend against VR.

Also it should target Titans.

I'd prefer a tier 8 diplomacy upgrade for the novalith.  It would be labelled "final solution".  It would be a warhead that is shot at the star, causing it to go supernova, and destroying all planets around said star.

This would then leave plenty of little asteroids for the space ponies to munch on to breed into swarms of space ponies.

Once swarms of space ponies are filling the ex-solar system, space pony predators would start to appear. 

Sins would be renamed Sins of a Pony Empire.

The wrathful pink ponies would have psychic powers capable of increasing their ability to pull other ponies tails from a distance.

The Yellow fat ponies would wallow around for a while and breed quickly.  They would use gang tactics to smudge pony eye makup.

The black ponies would be fast and strong, and they are running from an unseen enemy, the predator of the predators of the space ponies.

Who will prevail?
