Define "beginning" and define "boring"

For me, none of it is boring. When the game first begins, your in a race against the clock to capture and upgrade as many planets as possible to get your economy rolling. Every planet you can get in the early game will help you a lot as the game goes on. While there may not be too much combat going on, it's still interesting for me, racing to get as many planets as possible. Furthermore, it's interesting to fend of rushes.

i find the early game the most challenging and hectic time of the whole match, your apm and multitasking demands are huge early game, it dies down progressively from there bar the battle micro in late mid / end game. what are you actually doing early game?
