$40 and game still feels like it's in Beta and not a finished product.  Game is released "Final" form and here we all are still bughunting and testing -and not really being listened to.  Bugs found in beta are still around, races aren't balanced, ability/buff issues, performance issues, new galaxy forge issues,  but at least there isn't a particle forge out so no complaints about bugs there yet.

I'll come back to Rebellion in 6 months to see if it has its crap together.  Back to Entrenchment.

And why should we give a shit, whether its called beta or final, if they are working on the game? Really, that is all we need to know, the designation is completely irrelevant.

With a post like that, I'm stunned you have 46 Karma.

Cat's out of the bag, eh? If this is who you really are, and what you really think, then as far as I'm concerned, you can get out like you threatened. Like Timmaigh said, all that matters is that the devs are working on it. If you're too daft to realize that, then there is no need for you here.

To be fair, I agree that the Dev's should've put more work into balance in the beta. I mean, it is the beta right?

At the same time though, I could argue that most games now-a-days hardly release with balanced factions. Really, the only thing that matters, is that the devs are working on it.

I have to agree with the OP. Balancing units in the game should not be a hard thing. But somehow it takes a month longer to change the balance.. I just seems to me that they dont care if the game is balanced or not. I have seen other RTS games get a lot more updating if it comes to balance.

@JA_394

Its great that they are working on it but if would be nice to hear on what!!! And the fact is if you deliver a final product the main stuff should be working. Meaning mayor balance issues(vasari).

@M11xStryker

Your right that 3 factions is hard to balance but this game has been around for a while and the new untis have been discussed in depth. Yet it took a long time before something was done about it..

1.03 can be expected... basicly any second now... though updates seem to only come out weekdays-not-friday at 1pm ish. so.

and then they also promised a save breaking update, and a map pack thing.  S0. its not that they are not working... its that... they are taking their time... wether its cause they are changing a lot of things, have almost no dev hours allocated to sins, or making sure everything is as perfect as it could be... donno.

Well, you know how it goes. Workers go into BETA thinking 'hey, so Im going to do some balance work' and then find that desyncs stop the game from being played. And so they work on the major issues and find them cascading into all sorts of others, and manage to fix most issues before they have to release.

Then, supposedly, right before release, someone was supposed to click his heels and balance everything, make better abilities, make it run better than they spent a month getting the game to, and fix issues that havent even come up yet. I get the argument.

Doesn't Starcraft still do balancing, even months after release?
