I got Sins Rebellion on preorder and i love the game.
I fell in love with the advent ships with there slick streamlined designes and cool looking ships.
The Vasari Ships are mostly ferocious and dangerous looking with different cool designs.
And then the TEC...
Many of the ships (atleast some of those most usefull) look just plain out ugly and strange.
The Kodiak Heavy Cruiser being a prime example looking like somone putting a tank turret on a pimped out cargo container.
The Hoshiko Robotics Cruiser though also looking kinda strange is more original looking and is also a less"common" ship.
The Javelis LRM Frigate looks kinda akward but is not "too" unthinkable of a design.
The Sova Carrier on the other hand looks like someone just took modern aircraft carrier and made it into a spaceship.
I have nothing against "ugly" ships but atleast make something that makes sense and is orignial dont just spaceify stuff.
I understand that some of the Tec navy ships are supposed to be converted traders but the only ship that looks like it is is the corsev and i actually like that ship design as it looks logical enough for a large trade ship.
I have been looking around on the forums and there are many modders creating beautiful ship models that are 10 times better then anything the TEC currently have.
Would it be possible for somone to make some replacement shipmodels for the tec making the ships more believable and original looking.
As i am new to the Sins series i have not yet learned to do things myself but even if i did im not talanted at texture (model) work and thus think i would not be able to make anything of quality.
