Can destroy enemy fleet, cannot destroy the remaining Vasari Titan

So I am battling in a neutral gravity well. I had my 2000 command point fully upgraded fleet go against the Unfair enemy AI. At the start of the battle I launched a TEC starbase, which is now fully weapon/defense upgraded. I have a titan, 4 capitcal ships and tons of frigrates/cruisers/bombers. I wiped out the enemy fleet, but the Titan remains. My fleet got cut by 25-30 % and I lost a capital ship, but with all my forces against the Titan by itself, I cannot take it down. This thing regenerates hull and shields faster than I can hit it. Sometimes i can get it down to like 4000-5000 hull points remaining, then over the course of 10 seconds it regenerates all of its hull points. It was at level 4 at the start of the battle. Most of the time it sits between 7000-11000 hull points and 0 shields.

So, how do I destroy this thing? This is crazy

Im assuming its the vasari rebel titan. Pull your entire fleet back and take it on using only capitol ships and your own titan if you have one, or wait for it to attack a starbase.

The more ships surrounding it the more it heals when it uses its ability. I dont think the ability works on caps/titans though so it wont be able to heal without any small ships to leech health from.

Nothing inherently wrong with that.
