I was grabbing a download for some game files (legal ones) and the free download site of course wants to hook into your browser, redirect you, etc. and do all sorts of ad-spam things.

So don't go to the site itself that the image is linked from but it cracked me up and I wanted to show the inset image layer ad they had linked--this is just the image.

So this is a site for people who want to get "free electricity" for their homes and the magical device that provides it is supposedly shown in the picture.

What I am still trying to figure out is how a battery powered toy motor is going to power your home with no power.

What is their secret?  It must really be incredible.

Just stupid stuff that cracks me up while simultaneously annoying me.

When I was a kid I built models that came with just such a motor. You built it yourself and it worked pretty good. Took two D batteries to run it.

"You Gotta Love Spammers" - Jafo does. With a dash of salt and pepper.

He has a great collection of pelts, and can be persuaded to show them (I act as his American agent).

Just call 1-800-BUX-4-Doc, and you'll be greeted by my Shameless Commerce division.

Healthy skepticism is a good thing. It should not, however, prevent you from believing the idea that there just might be new or previously suppressed technologies which may (or may not) exist.

Quoting Wizard1956,
I have one of these. I keep it right next to my miracle device that lets my car get 100+ MPG and X-ray specs.

Don't tell me, your purchased yours from NoMoneyBackGuarantee Appliances and opted to tell a friend or relative to get the free cruise?

So how come I didn't see you aboard, then?

They put me in a cabin down near the engine room.  It wasn't too bad, though the noise from the engine room kept me awake at night... all those mice in hamster wheels squeaking hour after hour as they propelled the ship.  I can't complain, though, except when they escaped the engine room and ate all my food.  I suppose it serves me right for wanting to have meals in my cabin.

Still, I'm surprised we didn't run into each other, not that I got up on deck much.  Nah, the friggin' mice kept chewing through the damned rope and I was forever stuck below deck with a drunken purser who couldn't find his ass with both hands, much less a way out to get on deck.

Oh well, I still have my electrical generator, though my X-ray specs were lost when the ship sank.  Shame that, I was just starting to find out about what went on behind closed doors.

Why would your car want X-ray specs?

Ah, but what would you do with that dirty great clobbering stick and exile button without them?

I mean, life would have to be a hell of a lot more enjoyable being able to belt the bastards into oblivion, surely.

For mine, Spam should be outlawed worldwide... and that all cans in the wild should be collected by HAZMAT teams and incinerated at very extreme temperature to ensure absolute destruction.  Any recipes out there should go in as well... and anyone who knows how to make it without a recipe, to be sure, to be sure.
