Constant looping start

Been having a problem specifically with Sins for a while now on Steam.

When I load the game, i get the usual "preparing to launch..." window, which instantly closes, followed by it opening again. This looping continues indefinitely (2-3 times a second) until i close steam down.

Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I've had this happen for a brief period a couple of times and it definitely seems to be a conflict between the game coming out of the branding screens and Steam trying to approve/recognize the game at the same time.

If you have modest ram or cpu, it may just be calling to many resources repeatedly trying to get the info and your computer gets stuck.
