[Suggestion] Titan xp increases rebuild time.

My formula is simple - for every 10 xp it has, the time to rebuild a titan goes up by 1 second.  Does it have 600 xp?  Takes 1 more minute to rebuild.  Does it have 12,000 xp?  Takes 20 more minutes to rebuild.

Seems this option gives a player with a high level titan the chance to remain a factor, particularly with the support of other players, while still giving the player who sacrificed a significant chunk of their fleet to kill it a reasonable amount of time where they can push forward.

Of course, a more thorough titan rebalance would be preferable, but this seems like a simple and viable stopgap measure.

The devs already said they plan on something like this.

Yup, only difference is it will be by level, not total XP.

It would be easier to code and make more sense as levels have more effect on a Titans abilities rather then straight XP.

Honestly I'd just like to see the Titan's period of vulnerability reduced and the risk of building a titan increased(greater consequences to building one and letting it die)

perhaps something like:

-increase amount of experience required for each level up by 50%

-increase exp granted for killing enemy titans by 50%

-reduce the damage of ranks 1 & 2 of non level titan AoE damage abilities(for examples Eradica's Chastic burst could drop from 500/700/900/1100 to 350/600/850/1100 and similar adjustments to other strong early game titan AoE)

If titans didn't level so fast and did less AoE damage out of the gate, they would have a  much longer period in which they are level 1-2 and still vulnerable to frigates.  This would mean that rushing a titan would be less of a no-brainer as the guy that's building a fleet will likely be able to kill said titan if it has no supporting fleet before it grows.

titans are just IMO way too snowbally now and for the benefit they give don't present much of a risk since they grow out of their vulnerable stage extremely quickly.

i think we should get rid of the idea of titans keeping their exp after death, im not suggesting that the should lose all experience but there should at least be a certain type of penalty to the experience of the titan. Another problem is the time needed to rebuild a titan is in my opinion not enough.

A few suggestions from my side would be:

  • A 50% exp penalty after death or 20% more experience to lvl is needed for each death (max 100%).
  • Each death makes the building time 15% longer (max 150%) regardless of the titan lvl
  • Increase the Crew needed from 2 to 3.

What i also think that has to be changed is the MAW, at this point when you get the MAW its almost impossible to kill it as with the combo of the mini phase jump with the MAW, not even carriers are safe for it.

  • Make the MAW target corvettes and strike craft, with this its still a powerfull weapon and combined with a good fleet still devastating.
  • This has to be rebalanced by increasing the AOE with factor 3 and making the duration 30 seconds.

I think these improvements will help in balancing the titans and not keeping them (almost) impossible to defeat.
