Can I get symbols and cursor on 3D objects?

Hi,

I just bought the new Sins of a Solar Empire - Rebellion. Planets and ships look great with 3D Vision, but all the symbols over them as well as the mouse cursor are in a flat layer in front. This makes it very hard to focus. My eyes got tired and I had to switch off 3D Vision after 5 minutes play.

Is it possible to get the symbols over ships and planets into the 3D space, so they stick directly over their objects? I know that from other games where the mouse cursor always follows the ground and it's much easier to target a 3D object, when cursor, object and status info are in the same depth. Since all objects around a planet are placed in a flat orbit, it should be easy to find an appropriate depth for the cursor.
