Did you know... that Fences is communicating with appanalytics.stardock.com and googleanalytics.com silently in the background?

And there seems to be no option to opt out of the spying.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this tool, but this leaves a bitter taste...

Edit:

Found a way to opt out. Edit your hosts file and add these lines:

127.0.0.1 appanalytics.stardock.com
127.0.0.1 googleanalytics.com

127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com
127.0.0.1 google-analytics.com
127.0.0.1 ssl.google-analytics.com

Fixed: You can no longer page onto blank screens (unless dragging an icon or a fence).

NOOOOOOO!!!! Why did they take this out? I loved being able to swipe over one page to hide all of my fences and icons. I know I could double click to hide everything, But After losing more than 3GBs of very valuable, unreplaceable content due to the hidden icons/folder, I no longer trust to use the hidden option.

This is still a great program and I dont think I could never not have it on my computer. It just sucks because I utilized this function every day.
