No plans of that happening.

So don't hold your breath and frankly some of the modders really don't want to be tied to Steam even more.

It does. Just doesn't work very well.

The main advantage of the workshop, is to have always up to date mods.

And mods on this platform have a good visibility. That is good for modders.

I'd probably use the workshop if it was around, if not solely so I could both avoid Moddb and ensure that people are uptodate.

6. USER GENERATED CONTENT

A. General Provisions

"User Generated Content" means any content you make available to other users through your use of multi-user features of Steam, or to Valve or its affiliates through your use of the Software or otherwise.

You grant Valve and its affiliates the non-exclusive, irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, broadcast, and otherwise communicate, and publicly display and publicly perform, your User Generated Content, and derivative works of your User Generated Content, in connection with the operation and promotion of the Steam site. If you use Valve cloud storage, you grant us a license to store your information as part of that service. We may place limits on the amount of storage you may use.

You will never ever see me upload even a drawing of a stick figure for these net nazis.

Well modDB is as bad or worse I guess, modders really need to band together and make our own servers.

DBolical may use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, broadcast, and otherwise communicate, and publicly display and perform the Content and other works which are based on them (including by way of adaptation or derivative works) in any form, anywhere, with or without attribution to you, whether or not such use would otherwise be a breach of any person's moral rights, and without any notice or compensation to you of any kind. This clause does not limit DBolical's privacy obligations under clause 10.

10. Personal information; Privacy Policy

DBolical collects, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with DBolical's Privacy Policy as it exists from time to time. The Privacy Policy is available from this link. By accepting these Terms, and each time you use the System, you consent to DBolical's collection, use and disclosure through the System of any information relating to you or your Account in accordance with DBolical' Privacy Policy as it then reads.

Read about "Terms of Service: Didnt read" http://tosdr.org/# the other day. Looks promising for outing assholes.
