Star Blazers Mod?

One mod that I think would be a good fit is Star Blazers.

 

One of my favorite animes and with all the ships in the series would be cool to see.  I am not a modder but would be cool to see if this would ever get done.

maybe eventually if no one else does it I may... I already have an Argo.

Its not an exact match but it you looked at it and saw the show as a kid I'm sure you'd recognize it.

but it will be a little while as I need to hone my texturing skills first.

this is a crazy post. i had the star blazers song stuck in my head all week. +1 to making this mod.

a nice follow up would be a robotech mod too. ;)

Was going over all the ships that could be done and seems workable also pleanty of factions

I might be interested in helping out. I modeled a few ships to use in a Galactic Civ mod I never got off the ground. I'd have to redo them, lost em in a crash.

Theres a big problem through, does this game support ship animations?
