Control Center 2 lost functionality - PLEASE PUT BACK

I have been an OD user since the days of OS/2. One feature of the windows version control center that I use every single day WAS the ability to click on a drive graph bar and get an explorer window launched to that drive.
Well in the new version of CC, now under Object Bar I believe, this functionality is GONE! You can have a very nice looking graph, or you can have a folder thingie that lists ALL drives, whether you want them or not, and lets you navigate to a folder, but there does not seem to be any way to duplicate this existing functionality.
Is there a plug in that will do this? IMHO, and my experience as a developer, losing functionality as part of an upgrade is serious no no.
Pleaes put this back or give me any insight as to how I can get this functionality in the new "improved" version.
