DEVS- interested in save games?

I have a save game of a 4D game, which is REALLY screwed up.
I noticed some time ago, that the "turns to completion" nomination was way off.
Now the research screen music plays over the normal music, the research doesn't pop up after research anymore, and sometimes my ships won't go when I click a destination.

oh and how the blazes did the enemy suddenly gain so much influence???

I've seen bugs 1,2 & 3 reported in other threads.
#4: Sometimes, ships on auto take extra turn to move.
#5: I can guess on influence: starbases.

Ted,
thanks for the update, about 5...
I tried to check out just how many starbases they have, and it seems to don't have THAT many, whereas I early in the game build one from every colony almost every time I could.
It doesnt matter if they don't have starbases nearby, but their influence slowly enchroaches everything, even those places I have starbases with "Influence" supplements high up.

oh well, it's probably just a matter of them being better than I :-)

Flemming,

The "influence" resources is another thing you could look for. If they have built star bases and upgrades on them you would get this affect. Other possibilities are some of the "star prestige" improving social projects and wonders.

The first few games are the hardest to play, as you are learning how the AI works.

Hmm, the more I play, the more I worry about some sort of "computer cheat", since occasionally, the computer will suddenly sprout enourmous influence, from one to to another - it's especially easy to see if you use the "influence" overlay button.
suddenly, WHAT they are all over the place - strange...

Flemming,

I see the same thing, but for myself instead of the AIs. So I really don't think the AIs are cheating, they just knows better how to take advantage of what is available.

Well, damn them anyway, hehe :-)

I'll try to see if I can figure out how they do it then, instead of yelling "CHEATER" at once :-)
