If you buy Drenging.net you get all the games on Drenging.net including GalCiv. Unfortunatly the beta has been closed so you would not be able to download it of drengin. You just have to wait for release.

I joined Drengin.net last night and managed to download and play GalCiv quite happily. Very happily, actually... until The Yor wiped me out.

Yep, it's the beta. 0.933, IIRC. I'd check, but I'm at work.

Yea, that sounds right. That was the last beta revision they had before it hit gamma. If you like what you see in that beta there is some nice things they added in gamma (appart from all the multimedia stuff).

Yeah, If you purchace Drengin.Net, you will be able to download the latest Beta version of GalCiv. This is about a month old, since we've moved into gamma testing mode a while ago, but should prove a fairly enjoyable experience. Come March 26th, we'll be releasing the full version on Drengin, which will include all additional features, graphics, movies, fixes, ect. You'll also get access to the free Bonus Pack that some of us are working on, with beefed up features, new graphics, ect.

In the end, even once it goes 'gold', you can look forward to continuous updates through Drengin.Net.

Ooh. Excited now. I'll be checking for a download on the 26th of March. Probably play the beta for the next week, then play MOO3 for three weeks or so, then back to GalCiv.

Once Ive played moo3 into the ground, I'll definatly be getting the subscription and downloading the beta. Very nice policy.
