Well, I planned on putting a poll in, but that seems to be impossible.
so, I'll just ask normally. Did a lot of you preorder the game?

So, that is why when I pre-ordered it said something like it its not going to charge me until the beta is out on stardock central or something like that.

You will accept paypal preorders when beta 1 is in full swing?

There will be a period where we'll continue to charge pre-orders once Beta 1 starts. During this time you should be able to use PayPal. After we close Beta 1, you'll have to wait until Beta 2 starts up if you want to use PayPal.

It's a bit of a bonus with TotalGaming.net in that since tokens are charged immediately, you can get into the beta at anytime once it starts.

We wont have a possilbe count or estimation, im sure people have better things to do them post on threads. Sorry its the truth, so theres always going to be some(a lot) of people who you will never get to answer.

I pre-ordered as well. But correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the impression that the CC wouldn't be charged untill the beta was released. Yet here I'm seeing a charge showing up on 01/05/07. Could the beta be ready? Or was I simply mistaken on when I would be charged?

You have been charged but have no beta? That sounds suspicious considering Stardock said the beta is not until feb.

It is probably a temporary hold, usually done to make sure the account is real and in good standing. In such a case it'll probably be cancelled after a few days at most.

read this entire thread, near the top it talks about the pre-order for the beta not being open for pay-pal users, I guess they will offer paypal as an option at a later time after the beta has been out awhile...
