As I read some of the replies in this post a question popped into my head. Is there any advantage to preodering w the CD vs. the dl only? I can only think of if there is a hard drive failure then maybe you dont have to dl it again. Anyone with other ideas/reasons that want to respond feel free.

I guess I could also ask if I did preorder it with dl only is it possible to go and change my order to get the dl & CD option?

When you order the CD version, you'll get the actual retail box of the game when it's released and all of its contents. If you'd like to change your preorder, you can email [email protected].

I preordered the game when I realized they won't charge me until it comes out in August. I was happy with preordering GalCiv2 Dark Avatar, and I expect similar with this game.

As others have said, you'll be charged when beta 1 is released. If you'd like to cancel your pre-order to avoid this, please contact [email protected].

Schem I thought they had your money since last year when you pre-orded, lol...

meh... its the difference between somebody padlocking your house, and demolishing it.
I can always "reverse" a padlock.
