Your Pick for PC Game of the Year

company of heroes... nuff said... It wasn't the most exciting year for pc gaming, that's for sure. I'd have to say that it's really hard to beat Company of Heroes. For me it's a shoe in. The game is amazing on all fronts, right down to using no copy protection, which oddly made me feel compelled to go right out and buy the damn thing(just like galactic civ 2) I've logged over 160 hours on it to date, money well spent. So what do you guys and gals pick for your game of the year on pc?

Dominions 3 for me! Other than Sins, this is the game I spent the most time playing

For me it wouldve been NWN2 but because of its annoying graphics requirements   i would have to opt for the more appealing Oblivion or DOW: DC.

hmm, I'd go for BF2142, for the sole fact that i must have logged hundreds of hours. Were it not fot the fact that it wasn't all that new...

So it's Oblivion.

RPG: Oblivion, hands-down.  I've put a ton of time into this one, and I'll be starting fresh when the expansion comes out in the spring.

RTS: Company of Heroes.  Has one of the most enjoyable multiplayer modes I've ever played in a strategy game.

TBS: Gal Civ 2.  And I say that even though I wasn't working for the company when the game came out.  Played that game through beta more than I play most retail games.

Shooter: BF2142.  I know people hate EA for the in-game ads and the "expansion pack sold as a full game" issue.  But for me, 2142 fixed a lot of what was wrong with BF2 and made the game feel fun and refreshing.

I can't think of any stand-out titles in the simulation, action or adventure genres this past year.
