Border, Padding, Rect help

I am working on logons

I need more info on borders, padding and rect.

The info on Logon Studio skinning "tutorial" doesn't work.
Modifications I made don't appear on screen.

If anyone has info on wat cld be the prob or wat I shld be looking at.

Also, some info on rp calculations would help.
