That's why the Trader Emergency Coalition was formed, but there are always those who don't agree with policies of that organization. Imagine a world that has massive industrial output that refuses to join the coalition but is annexed by the rest of them anyways because they deem it neccessary to fight the war. Imagine worlds that did join but are now questionning the ever increasing powers of the Coalition's ruling group. Imagine a world that was sacrificed for a broader military strategy. It doesn't take much for groups to differ on policies, especially when so much is at stake. And this doesn't just apply to the TEC. Surely, there are those in the Vasari camp who feel they should cut their losses and try elsewhere and not all the Advent are as "inline" as one might first think given their social structure.
