Can I get beta through pre-order or am I screwed?

If I were to pre-order now could I still be able to download the beta, or am I hopelessly lost?

They said that there would probably be a week or so after the beta release where you could still pre-order and get in on the beta. But only for a limited window of time. After that you would have to wait for the next phase of the beta.

Oh ok np for me then. I just want to get into the MP part of the beta (MP is really all i care about in a game. If i want a good story i'd just go see a good movie, watch a good tv series or read a good book.)

There won't be any story elements in the beta at all. Multiplayer should make its appearance in beta 2.
