Hmm..thats weird.
I got it to download before, but it was on the wrong account so it didn't authenticate. I uninstalled it and moved to the other account, but now it won't reinstall on either. Do I have to register it or something before downloading?

Did you register with stardock central?

I am not sure what you mean by register...
If you mean do I have an account, then yes I do.
If you mean put in the actual beta key, well, I need to get the email first...still waiting.

Yeah you need both , an actual account and also the email saying you paid. Then in the Games section of SDC you will see a tab for "games purchased".

i got the email about 3 hrs ago. but haven't the time to download it yet.

How about not getting the email at all! and having to listen to all the others say how great it is...

Did i mention it was great getting the email?

Yarlen,

Check your email. I've messaged you re: my original email being down.

When I preordered, the e-mail address I put in was my mom's, because I was ordering with her credit card, and I thought that the address was pertaining to that. I already have an account, but from what I can see, it will only download to my mother's. Is this correct? If so, I assume that I will be able to transfer the file over to my own computer once the download is complete?

Yes, you can archive the game, burn it to a disc (or copy it over the network if you have one) and then install off the archive using Stardock Central on your PC.

G-Force - tokens are charged immediately, so you've already got access from your TotalGaming.net account (translation: no serial required, it's done automagically).

Must have some sort of wrong configuration somewhere in Stardock Central. Anyways I had it email me all my serial codes, found the sins one, registered it in Stardock Central and downloaded the game

I'm good to go!

I needed to enter in the serial number too, but once it was put in, it joined the many stardock games I have:)

I bought the game, installed stardock, registered, and see sins under my "purchased games" list, but there is no install button when I lick on it. Wtf?

There is no "action" icon. And under installed it just shows ---------

Edit: NM figured it out, had to show beta/prerelease.

I installed stardock, and thats about as far as I got. I am lost on this thing, where do i go??

I have the serial number and everything, I have receipt, email, all that crap, and when I go to games the run/install/uninstall buttons are greyed out @_@

In SDC, go to the Tools menu and choose Register Products. Pick Games on the left, then find Sins in the Product pull-down liust on the right. Once you find it, enter your email and serial and click Register.

Close the registration dialog, go to the Games section and Sins should be listed under Purchased Products. Make sure you have Show Pre-release Versions on in the View menu, and you should get an Install button when you select Sins.

Well, I'd like to try it out and be a part of beta testing, but I have to buy it first, before I can find out if I even like it?!?!

NO THANKS!

I'm happy to help with beta testing, but not when I have to pay for something I can't even try first.

There will be a free demo available in the future for you to try out. Hopefully we'll see you then.
