Starting Game

I noticed that when my game starts i actually desktop then re initialize the game... i dunno if this should be a concern for those that have lower end comps whose comp will not start the game if this happens....
anyone else get this????

This happens to me as well. Goes to the Sins of A Solar Empire Logo splash screen, then goes quickly to the desktop then back to the game. And after this latest Beta Update, in the menus the screen seams to flicker a bit when going from one menu to another. Almost like a Vsync problem.
