cursor XP problem

When i run cursor Xp my computer seems to hang up from time to time. If I disable cursor XP, it runs smooth. I run Windows XP, Ie7, 256Mb ram and 2.40 gb processor.
Anyone else experience this problem?

I haven't but that's a tiny amount of ram. Bump it up a bit.

Also, what vid card? How much "oomph" does it have? What cursors? Ones with lot's of animation or really simple ones?
