Kol Beam weapon color....

Alright changing the beam color is really not that hard provided you have the right tools. You will need photoshop, or another program that can open and edit .dds files.

The files you want to change are in the textures folder. They are are TechCapitalBeam_Core.dds and TechCapitalBeam_Glow.dds

Basicly just change these to the color you want and walla. Be sure not to delete the alpha channel as that determines what is actually displayed. There will be more on this when I release my modding guide

when your done can you up load the file?

you could also change the color in the actual ship file itself under weapon color. been a while since i looked at em so i cant give you a direct format but under the weapon it does have a color area where you can use a hex color code to change color (keep in mind you need to skip the first two digits)

I don't think it'd take them two and a half years to complete...
