Simple feature is missing!

When one goes to save a game, you have to retype your previous saved game name to overwrite. The simple method to fix this is allow one to see previous saved games in the save game window and allow double clicking for overwriting previously saved games.

i'll admit that is a tad frustrating, they might have wanted us to feel we don't need to consolidate our saves or somethn... but i ususally don't need more than one or two anyway

Well when your playing a huge map, it helps. Unless your really committed and can go 48 hours straight.

Yeah, well multiplayer beta is a bit off. I wonder when the next beta update is?

Have they already said you can't save multiplayer games?

I think he meant that comment as a statement of personal preference. Surely there is no legitimate reason not to allow multiplayer saved games.

you WILL be able to save multiplayer games!

I wholeheartedly agree!

Also, it would be nice if they would allow the user to select the location where games would be saved. Since the Registry was introduced in Windows all programmers seem to want to put everything on C drive. I have always tried to keep things off C drive and use it mainly for the operating system so that if I have to reinstall the operating system I don't have to reinstall all my programs.

Although I cannot keep everything off C drive it would be nice to be able to at least choose where to put saved games. Devs: please consider this.

ya, they mentioned awhile back that we would be able to save multi games, but i'm not interested in games that cannot be played in one sitting, the main reason being that you'll never get the same people back to finish (sure they might sots the thing: allow others or comps to hop in absent players' spots, but that would ruin the game entirely for me)

I'm actually not planning on playing SOASE online anyway, just with my brother/friends. The rest will be AI games.
