Problem Loading Skins

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and WindowBlinds 5.5. When I try to load a skin, it loads the old Windows ME look. What's the problem?



Keep in mind, it does this with ANY skin.

A Graphics Experience score of 1.0 is extremely low, your video card may not be able to handle the skins.
You should check your card for amount of memory, and driver date.

Well, my onboard video isn't supported by Windows Vista Aero and my PCI video card isn't supported either because it's DirectX 8 and Vista is a DirectX 9 OS. I didn't think that would make a difference... but, if you can 100% pinpoint that as the problem, I'll just uninstall Vista and go back to XP, seeing as it's been nothing but problems for my older system.

Shock-: I'd say that's a definite problem with running WindowBlinds 5 skins on Vista. You will be unable to use the Per Pixel effect.

My main cause for concern in this situation is that you're using a pirated version of WindowBlinds. I would suggest uninstalling this version, restarting in safe mode, scanning your computer for viruses and then purchasing WindowBlinds and installing that version instead.
