How long until your credit card is charged? DL question

If I decide to buy the game now, with my debit card, how long does it take until the money actually changes hands? The reason I ask is because money is going into my account tomorrow, and I'd like to get the game now.

(Nobody in Toledo Ohio has the game, so i guess I'll download it.)

Typically, your "credit limit" for your debit card is whatever you have in the account. So if you don't have enough money right now, the transaction won't go through.

If you do have enough, it won't deduct the funds immediately but will put a temporary hold on your account for that much money until the actual charge comes through a couple days.

So, money won't actually change hands for a few days but as far as how much cash you have access to, the effect is usually immediate.

That's why I just use a credit card for this sort of stuff. I pay it off when I get my paycheck every two weeks so I don't pay any interest.
