4X game Lost Empire???

Hi guys, new to this forum, just wanted to pop by and hear if any of you have tried the game Lost Empire - a new 4X game. I'm looking for any word of mouth on the game - I have been playing it myself the last 4 days and I really like it - is there anyone else here who has played it? How do you like it? All I know about it is whats on the site: www.polluxgamelabs.com/lostempire - some more info from other players would be nice

The entire concept of a "mad goddess" turned me off to the title. Moreover the "kung-fu" elements or I should say the Eastern mythological component gave me a feeling that it was a fighter/FPS hybrid with a 4X face slapped on. After I over came my initial aversion to the title I read some more and it put me in mind of a cross between SMAC/MoO/X-Wing.

Seeing how it is available on GG for DL I will likely buy it mainly because I support the genera and after all I discounted SotS for over six months based on such feelings and after hearing some great things about it on these forums I decided to get it and I have thoroughly enjoyed it ever since. In fact it has cut in to my Sins testing time. I had to give up GS2 all together - for now.

Haven't seen much kung-fu in lost empire lol - a new patch came out yesterday for it, it made the AI even harder to fight, cause now it actually always have weapons equipped on its fleets, lol.
