It did work some time ago, but i guess that the host closed down or something.
So thats why i wounder if it got working again, since its been hosted on steam now

Maybe...but you might need steam or something to get it to work...it does say multiplayer on the description on the steam site.

EDIT: turns out I don't have my saves!

You can use hamachi for MP games (or at least use to but I don't know if Steam would create issues)

Nexus MP was quite boring. It was basically pulling as much ships as you can as fast as you can. Not much tactics

I'm downloading Nexus now (43%!)! I'll see if someone is on multiplayer...but I think I'll play single player (I need to catch up to where I was...). (46%!) I don't know how multiplayer worked but if it does work...who wants to play? (50%)

I think I need the patch too...it kept saying that it was connecting to the master server or something when I hit the Internet tab, so I'll see if the patch fixes it.

EDIT: It keeps saying forbidden when I click the "if it doesn't start automatically, click here"

Buggiest, most poorly balanced space combat game, i've yet to play. visually stunning, extremely interesting storyline, but practically unplayable due to bugged missions.
