I just downloaded the beta the other day, and have been very impressed so far, takes me back to the days of Imperium Galactica . . . anyhows.

I zoomed into the capital shipyard last night whilst I was building my first capital ship, expecting to see a hive of activity as they went about constructing this monstrosity, but I saw nothing . . . That, I must say, is the only dissapointing thing I can think of about the game at the moment. Just wondering whether this was being planned for or whether there would be npthing along these lines. Personally I hope there will be animations to ogle at as the enemies fleets bear down on me without my noticing

They could have always cheated and had the platform be completly enclosed and door open to release the newly crafted ship.
